Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for replacing the clutch and front brake (drum) cables on an 85 KDX 200. Should I just get the OEM parts or are there some aftermarket cables out there? Thanks

I have used the Motion Pro cables and they replace stock perfectly and save over the stock cost.

I've an 84 model myself here in Australia. I recently got myself a front brake cable from a Kawasaki dealer. Surprisingly, he had one in stock immediately, and it was very very cheap. $33 Australian.

A couple of wreckers down the road quoted me $25 to build one up themselves.

Go OEM if available. You'd be surprised at how cheap an option it can be. When it comes to plastic/rubber parts though, well... thats another story...
