Does anyone know if the Moose Run put on by Bill Gussy in IL has a date for 2004? I need to schedule my 2004 vacation and would like to attempt one of his races.

Try checking: unitedoffroadracing.com there should be an updated schedule for '04 along with info on the new OMA series Bill is promoting!

Bill also has another race at the Morrison location in the fall as well.

Bill's early season races at Prophetstown are a really good time as well. It's a sandier area so mud/peat bogs usually aren't an issue.

Have to agree with Grunk,
I rode a couple of the early races in Prophetstown last year and they are a pretty good time. I missed the first one, rode the Keithsburg race instead. Prophetstown is sandy and pretty fast but it seems like there is always a section or two that will slow you down to a snails pace. Gotta like the variety!

The June dates are good for the riders but not for spectators as the terrain is usually drier
