Ok I got my new bike (kx250f) love it. Now I need the aftermartket oil filter/ water pump cover. Where can I get one and who has the cheapest ?

Willets,
SFB, Pro-circuit, Boyesen and Muzzys all have the two piece water pump / oil filter covers, all are about the same cost right around $100.00 - $125.00

I just got the Pro Circuit version of this dealer selling them on eBay...he even throws in a kawi oil filter and an o-ring!

Changed the filter yesterday,what a pain in the a**,will be ordering the cover today.Don't wanna go thru that evertime I change the filter.

When I removed the filter there was some gunk in there like vasoline. Anyone else see this ?

It is normal. I found it on mine also and it turned out to be grease that was used to hold the filter in place during assembly. Don't sweat it.
