Just read an excerpt of this from the January Racer X, man, sure sounds like theres a lot more to the industry than what most people see. Im definitely going to pick it up.

I'm sure there is A LOT more than what most people see or are willing to see but suspect it's not going to spill all the beans.

I agree, but I was suprised at how straightforward the exerpted section of the book read. I didn't expect MC to give the straight goods on much other than his day to day life stuff. I imagine the exerpted chapter was much more honest than Suzuki was expecting or hoping for

I read that excerpt and found it to be riveting. As a long time industry guy with access to the pits and gossip in the mechanic's area, I heard a lot of that stuff that was happening to McGrath in 1997 but never got the full story. After reading that I have a lot more respect for Jeremy as a racer and I appreciate his inside view of the sport. I hope it sells like hotcakes and all these wide eyed kids read it and realize that supercross isn't such an innocent sport and is more like football and basketball than people want to admit.

McGrath's book is like a tour of the "sausage factory" of supercross. I can't wait to read the rest of the book. Does anybody know where the book will be for sale? I'd like to stock them at my bike shop.

I enjoyed that little glimpse as well. I'm really looking forward to reading the entire book. The preamble mentioned that the book will be out on January 6th.
