Im pretty new to dirt biking Im currently riding a KX 100 but I plane on entering some Enduros and Hairscrambles in the New England area so I want to get a new bike first. Im lookin for a 2 stroke 200 or 250 thats best for woods racing. Any suggestions that yall can give me would be appreciated.

The KDX is an awsum woods weapon :thumb: Add a few mods such as pipe, boyesen power reeds, twin filter you will have a great machine for the type of riding you will be doing!!! :thumb:

Buy a secoundhand GasGas ECE250, they kick both kdx and ktms ass. V Reliable better than my Honda Cr 250!!

Ill second the second hand Gas Gas or kdx. aggressive riders should love the GG.
A 250 motocrosser in the woods isnt gonna be cheap. I love a $14000 kx 250 in the woods, I cant really see myself doing it justice though.

I'd look for a GasGas EC200 or XC200. A KTM EX/C200 would also do the trick... Lastly a KDX200 or 220 will work.....

Go to a race and see what most of the bikes in your desired displacement range are. I'll venture a guess if there is a good GasGas dealer you'll see them otherwise I'll venture you'll see LOTS of orange. The KTM200 e/xc is a pretty tough bike to pass up. A little more expensive but all you do is and handguards of your choice and go, no aftermarket add-on's required. Same for the GG.

If you want a more agressive bike make sure to get a 200 or 250EC not a Pampera. Pamperas have lots of lugging power but no top. A KDX is a great cheaper choice that is just as capable and the KTM is a great agressive enduro that you can't go wrong with(for the extra money). Depending where you live it might be hard to find a Gasser. My $.02, any 2 stroke will do.
