There is a real clean KT250 for sale ($250) around my area and I am thinking about buying it (more for collector sake since I am into vintage Kawi's) I own and ride a TY250 in the vintage or twin shock class, was wondering how it compares to a TY or RL (I have riden a friends RL) I am guessing they are pretty much the same, but they are just not popular around here, everyone has a TY or RL but not a KT is there something inheirently wrong with this bike? Is the steering geometry wrong b/c TY's seem to rule the twin shocks. I am going to buy it anyway, Just curious if anyone has any riding impressions.

I have a buddy that had one "back in the day". He said it worked very well, but the geometry wasn't up to the standard of the TYs and the main reason it wasn't "as" competitive. That's a great deal and worth snapping up for sure!

I have a buddy with a really nice SWM that I would love to have, but have no cash at the moment. I really want a twin shock bike as a second machine and to maybe try a vintage event. I rode this SWM last year and it works like it was off the showroom floor. Guess it's time to start buying lotto tickets again

Its funny, I too have bought maybe 4 or 5 lotto tickets - & you know what? I’ve never won a zillion dollars.

What? -I mean you always hear stories about people who win, just nobody takes the time to tell the losing stories.

I have a suspicion I’m not the only one either. . .

Used to be a chap rode one to school (I guess that may have been [cough] a couple of decades ago), quite a distance on public roads with a funny riding position, but road legal in NZ.
