CRF450 Fork question

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I am replacing the stock springs in the forks with .50 springs. Do I need to replace the oil in the fork damper also? I just had the forks and shock serviced a couple of months ago and the oil in the fork leg looked good. I guess what I am wondering is when I drained the oil out of the fork leg did I also drain some of the oil from the damper?

Thanks in advance.

No, but a few months old is enough to be ready for some new stuff in the inner chamber also IMO.
