BBR Tripleclamp for CRF230

Anyone have this?
My wife is rather tall and can't comfortably stand up on her 230, so I'm looking for a way to raise her bars and move them forward a bit. I've already looked as some different bar bends but I'd like to combine the new bars with this tripleclamp.
The BBR site says it raises the bars 3/4 of an inch and that I can move them forward.
It also says it lowers the forks 1 inch. I'm a little ignorant in this regard. What does lowering the forks 1 inch imply?

OK, Guess I'll buy one and be the guinea pig. I'll try to remember to post my thoughts here after we use it.
