As the title states I really need some solid techniques on getting old dirt and grime off my engine cases. I picked up a used KDX200 motor in solid condition but in dire need of some clean cases.
As seen here

The engine will mount to my KX125 frame and I'm going for that new, brand new look.

Cheers.

Buc - I have found that Engine Brite (I think that is the brand name) by Gunk works very well. I warm the bike up good (neighbors love that part) soak it down good - let it sit 10 mins. Then hose with hot water. Everything just falls off.

Be careful where you use it though as it eats through alot of different finishes. There are negatives to every product - but I used it for 5+ years on my previous KDX without any problems.
