Posted by: Senior KX Rider---------------------

I'm in. Eric and I are in for the whole week

Posted by: evenslower---------------------

Woohoo, I'd like to thank my Compaq keyboard for hooking up and putting the power of my IBM X30 to the ground today. My Nokia monitor cleaned up with Quick View Aerosol really made it easy for me to navigate and see where I was going. Just wanna keep this good feeling going and enjoy while it lasts.

Posted by: Dapper---------------------

Hmmm will I go? I'll think about it

Posted by: Thump---------------------

You can add HotPants to the list.

Posted by: VintageDirt---------------------

I'll be there, it's the only thing on my planner besides soccer, little league, awana, razzle dazzle, fund raisers to the 10th, and takin' it up the chute from the ex. So yeah, I'll be there.

Posted by: bhiner---------------------

Count me and Bry in!!!
3rd year Oooooh Yeeeaaaah!!!

Posted by: Stan_Flemmings---------------------

Put Dad and I on the list for sure.

Posted by: BEEF706---------------------

The whole week this time for me (don't wanna repeat last year's mistake).

Posted by: gnarlykaw---------------------

A minimum a four here! and a FULL week too!

Posted by: VintageDirt---------------------

Yoo Hooo, I'll be there all week. By myself. Alone. Just me. Not having tacos.

Posted by: Jeff Gilbert---------------------

Me & Tigger are in for all week. Paypal transaction is done but a problem with the waiver is the hold up now. I sent webmaster Okie the info to fix.

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

If the link FROM paypal to the waiver (and then to the registration form) see either the STM or subscriber forum for the work around. There are links in there directly to the waiver.

Oops, I'm having concentration problems. I just sent the paypal but the waiver dealio says I didn't sign it. What color crayon am I supposed to use?

Posted by: oldguy---------------------

I guess my family just doesn't count :whiner:

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

Uh Dave... I know it's a popular belief, but I really am not on here 24/7 , lol.

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

VD, see the post in the STM Forum.

Posted by: Tony Eeds---------------------

Dang, I go away for a couple of days and look what happens ...

I get shaking on my crew!

Posted by: the kid---------------------

Alright I was worried he wasn't taking us this year

Posted by: oldguy---------------------

Okie put thekid and Trudy on the non eligible Asterisk drawing also

Posted by: motogurl---------------------

are all riders welcome at dirtweek?? meaning quads too

Posted by: Tony Eeds---------------------

Nope, bikes only. Quads are used to carry the wounded. You still need to come though! Check out the accommodations in the motel thread ...

And trail sweeps, carry Okie clan/volunteers, to and fro. Pit area transportation (no quad pit donuts )

Posted by: tnrider---------------------

not sure if i will be riding by dw04 (broken arm thing) - but i promised my son the trip - so, where is the link to register us? (sorry, clueless first timer...)

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

For SupportTeam Members (includes discounts)
http://www.dirtrider.net/forums3/showthread.php?t=95851

Good luck with the arm!

Posted by: XR3J---------------------

Let the countdown begin!

Posted by: Chili---------------------

Dangit!!!!!!! I wanted the holeshot, I go on the first vacation in lord know's how long and they open registration! It's a conspiracy I tells ya!

On a serious note Okie for our registration do you want me just to send the waivers? I want to get ours in for the first 150. Is there a difference between this years fee's and last years that you held over due to LazyBoy's injury? Let me know how you want me to proceed and If I owe you more $ All three of us are in for the week this year as we had planned to be last year.

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

Just fill out the registration forms and submit them Chilli. Who is the third person (name)?

Posted by: Chili---------------------

Okie, Our third is my wife Charlene.

Posted by: LazyBoy---------------------

Posted by: High Lord Gomer---------------------

Hey, me and that Spode guy got moved to NC when we wasn't looking!

Posted by: Mudd Slinger---------------------

Can you add my boy (Charlie) and I to the list.

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

(names are added when registration is received)

Posted by: Grissom29---------------------

I signed up for the full week.

Jason

Posted by: Jaybird---------------------

Jaybird will be heading west again.

Posted by: Papakeith---------------------

Momma's coming, Momma's coming!!!!
Plus I might have 2-3 others in the wings
RI will actually be representing at DW properly this year

Ayuhs for everyone

Posted by: Pokie---------------------

hey PapaK... did you lose one to Iowa?......

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

Larry Roeseler added

Posted by: Papakeith---------------------

Indeed I did.
hmmm wonder how I talked Momma into going this year?

Posted by: Stan_Flemmings---------------------

So PapaKeith, if 3 people from RI end up making it out, what is that, like half the state's population?

Posted by: Papakeith---------------------

veeery funny grasshopper!

now go jet your bike or something. . .

Posted by: oldguy---------------------

Well it looks like Trudy must have heard Rhode Island is going to be there because I am pretty sure she is cancelling out.
Actually she just started a new job and doiesn't know if she will get the time off.

Posted by: firecracker22---------------------

I want to go. Just not sure yet. Started a new job, and all that.

Posted by: Camstyn---------------------

I'm going to try to make it again, don't know if I can yet though.

Posted by: husky2kawi---------------------

Question...I read that there are 400 apps available, does that mean if things work out at a later date, we can't go (because the 400 is booked)???
Thanks!!!

Posted by: Patman---------------------

Yup, pretty much.

Posted by: Little_John---------------------

Well, uh...can we get a count on how many are registered? You know for us dead beats who haven't signed up yet due to our various circumstances....please.

Little_John

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

See the first page of this thread.

Posted by: Little_John---------------------

Sorry for the stupid question. I didn't realize that was the whole list.
Thanks, Okie.

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

A lot of folks (most) wait until the last minute every year... no doubt understandable, but it sure makes it tough on us, lol.

Posted by: Little_John---------------------

Okie,
I'd be happy to help out any way I can. Is there a thread where you're requesting volunteers.

Little_John

Be careful what you ask for!

There is a volunteer forum that will get very active over the next couple of months.

BTW - Thanks for asking

Posted by: Little_John---------------------

Right. Just found that part of the forum. I think maybe I should look before I ask a bit more.

I like to help out and even organize stuff, just as long as I still get a bit of saddle time I'll be good to go.

Little_John

Posted by: Pokie---------------------

Miss Crispy will be glad to "take your number"..... the most needed volunteer will probably be FLAGGER: we need 12 per race, 6 during practice time on the big track, and 4 on the JR Track... the Hare Scramble organizers will decide what's needed to protect the woodsriders from the big bad wolf and the witch's magic brew....

Posted by: Little_John---------------------

I'd be willing to be a flagger for the MX races (I am NO good on an MX track, might as well do something useful), but I want to ride in the woods.

Posted by: Crispy---------------------

Thanks for the offer to help! There will be plenty of opportunities for everyone! As time gets closer, I will be posting about flagger volunteers, score keepers and such, so keep an eye on the Volunteer forum, or you can contact me directly!!

Thanks again!!
Chris

Posted by: a454elk---------------------

I went and did something realllllll bad,

I PAID FOR DW!!!!! GIDDY UP!! CAKE HOLE, LYM heads East! 5 fun filled days, damn the waiting now.

Posted by: rv6junkie---------------------

I'm confirmed. Just did the paypal transaction and registration form. I like the new reg form.

See you at Cooperland!

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

I'm in. Better late than never.

Posted by: WaltCMoto---------------------

Me and the boys are done paid for and waivers complete. Oh ya, 5 weeks to go

Posted by: CAL---------------------

The KY crew is in...and we're actually bringing a new guy with us. cbedwards (my uncle).

Posted by: gnarlykaw---------------------

was looking at the list , and didn't see a few names I was hoping to see.

slo'mo, and son, Timr, Mikeb,Patrick, GETMETOCA, um, ZIO,

just a few.

Posted by: Tony Eeds---------------------

yep ... or MX-727 and family, tcarp and family ...

They still have a little over a week to sign up ...

Everyone send out guilt vibes. Most don't wear tin foil caps Maybe that will work.

I thought zio was in.

GETMETOCA is tied up with work.

Posted by: CAL---------------------

What about Eddie and Aimee? I think Eddie is having to work. Without Nat and Eddie...who's gonna cook for the masses!? It won't be the same without those mashed potatoes and tri-tip...

I talked to Mikeb last week. Him and Patrick are coming, just haven't signed up yet.

Posted by: Gary L---------------------

I am in!

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

Eddie may be able to make it, I think it's still up in the air?
I don't know about Nat... she better be there.

Posted by: Tony Eeds---------------------

I heard Eddie is hoping for a delay on a project, but Natty is tied up with some kind of plant inspection Txbigguy is not going to be in Camp Tejas with his big grill either.

I am planning a good menu ... now all I have to do is get folks to help with the cooking.

Posted by: gnarlykaw---------------------

well I guess If I would hang around in here more often, I might have known this. LOL. last i heard a while back, Eddie told me that work was going to be a problem. Tony, my grill is pretty small, but i am bringing the turkey fryer to make up more flame space.

Posted by: CAL---------------------

I can help cook. I don't have any equipment to cook with, but I can help you grill, prepare, or whatever. Heck...at Loretta Lynn's, Rahrah and I were the potato slicers. Made some durn good "skin-on" fried taters I must say!

This year I'm planning on taking more time off riding and spending more time helping. Seems like every year I ride 10 hours a day, until I drop, and miss out on alot of the socializing. This year I'm going to have to learn to say "no" when the 12th person says "hey Corey, lets go for a loop".

Posted by: WaltCMoto---------------------

Corey,
Ive got you covered in the kitchen department. Stove, pots, pans, just stop by and get what ya need. maybe we can get some food planning going or just wing it while were there. Definitly have to get a breakfast burrito deal together.

Posted by: gnarlykaw---------------------

I KNOW Mrs. Gnarlykaw could use some help cookin! heck, she prolly feed ya as well!

Posted by: Tony Eeds---------------------

Corey, Rick, Walt et al ... Camp Tejas has always has plenty of space and talent as well. We could all combine our talent and throw down a hoe down and have a large time each night with vittles

I am bringing my wok and am looking for a good traveling grill as we speak. I am planning on baking a roast one night by digging a hole and filling it with coals and burying a roast for 6~8 hours. Great stuff and we can as easily do two or three as one, if ya'll are interested. Start it and noon and eat about dusk. OMG you will think you have died and gone to heaven.

I am thinking frying catfish one night in the wok as well but I have to find a good source for filets.

Posted by: CAL---------------------

Pokie,

Have you received the Paypal $$ and registration for cbedwards? I submitted it with my Paypal account last week.

Thanks!

Posted by: MrLuckey---------------------

I just got back from 10 days in PA and word in the office is that there was a meeting for the real startup schedule while I was out. From what I hear Sept. 27th is the first day and the schedule will NOT slip. I'll continue to hold out a little hope but it's not likely

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

CAL,
The paypal was received, but not the registration form. Can you get this person to fill it out please?

Paypal and registration done!

Posted by: motometal---------------------

Looks like one of our group may have been overlooked, 3 Iowans paid for w/one paypal. Motometal and Jake M. are on the list but there should also be Steve Sanger. His registration/waiver was sent in Saturday night. Let me know if we need to re-send it.

thanks

Posted by: DWreck---------------------

Did you get everything you needed for Jeff Yocum? His computer is on the blink and he filled out the Paypal and registration the same day as me on my computer. His is on the blink. He couldn't remember his screen name at the time, it is jeffdirt. He signed up for Friday and Saturday.

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

Yes, his paypal went thru, no registration form though. If he's not able to get online, print a form for him and have him bring it with?

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

Did he fill-out the registration online and use paypal or by "sent-in" do you mean mailed?

Will do. Thanks

Posted by: Pokie---------------------

may I suggest that you/he mail the completed form (one per attendee) to the address on the form.... immediately.... so we don't have to bother with the registration details on site....
thanks

Posted by: motometal---------------------

i'm sorry, my post could have been a bit more specific...

all was done via computer. Paypal went in on Thursday the 26th, all three of us on one payment from my account. Steve Sanger and myself e-mailed our forms either Friday or Saturday, followed by Jake's on Sunday. Steve should be on the list between myself and Jake. My goal was to get us all three registered in time to be entered in the Asterisk drawing.

I understand that it takes time to process all of these, and don't mean to be impatient; but thought there might be a problem since Jake's name was already on the list, and his waiver was sent in after Steve's.

thanks

Motometal,
Please forward the paypal transaction #.
There is no registration form for Steve Sanger, he'll need to fill it out. If there's a problem with it, tell him to print it and bring it with. No problem getting in the drawing.
