Anyone ever had this shock apart ? any tips for the resevior- I know it has a floating piston but technical info seems to be pretty skimpy.
I guess I am wondering what PSI the nitrogen should be and anything to watch out for when I take it apart.

Floating piston ? psi would be in 150 to 165 range. If you are replacing the sealhead and bumper getting the nut off the shaft on a Showa can be a little tricky. (I'am assuming you have not done this before). You can destroy the rebound needle seat if its not ground off properly. Unless it has been dissassembled before, then it might be loctited on. I believe there is info on this at the MX-Tech.com website.
