Well, I have never owned a dirtbike, but did look into a few. I have only driven one a couple times, and it was an old Honda 80 2 stroke. I ride trails alot on my quad, and don't see me getting into racing because I think I'm a bit too old for that (14 turnin 15 in may). I am about 5'5, weigh about 135-140... When I was interested in buying before I checked out a TTR-125, the size was perfect, and me riding trails, I thought maybe a 4 stroke would be best? I went back the next day and the store had shut down =(. Help me out you MX freaks!

No need to post this twice, but..

Your going to get bored and outgrow a 125, powerwise and sizewise. Im 15, 5'5, and 115 lbs and I ride a KX-125.

Too old for racing? Have you ever watched mx racing? The guys are a tad bit older than 14.

Anyway, I would reccomend either a KDX 200/220, or a KX/RM 100. Many people use KX 100s bone stock and do fine in the trails, such as my best friend. I rode it in our trails, and I had a lot of fun on it. Do a search on this forum on a kx-100. Many people have made modifications such as flywheel weight, aftermarket exhasut pipes and silencers, different size sprockets, etc.. The KX-100 also has powervalves, so it doesent have that unpredictable and snappy powerband that the 80cc you rode has, which would make it fun in the trails.
