Lifan 150?

Stopped by a new dealer in town today. Lookin for a trail bike...never had one before. I was lookin to spend around 2500 for a used bike. He showed me a brand new Lifan 150 for $1799. I have never heard of lifans and am a little bit wary but at 17 money is a big issue. This is their first year in the US and they have supposedly been making parts for a long time. They have a 6-month/1500 mile warranty. Anybody heard of these before?

A 150cc 4 stroker seems a little lacking for a 17 y/o IMO. What's your size? With all the new 4 strokes coming out nobody wants a 2 smoker. You could easily hunt one down in good condition and under your budget price.
