Hey fellas 
First off, I love the board, and thanks for all the information. :thumb:
Anyways, I am in a little stump. I am not sure which to get, 2004 YZ250 (2 stroke), or a 2004 CR450F. I LOVE the hard hitting 2 stroke and the fun factor. Is the CR450F as much fun to ride as the 250? I wouldn't imagine it would be, hence the strong hitting powerband. Now, I know the OBVIOUS differances between the two.
I will be riding almost ALL terrains, besides sand dunes. 50% trail/track, 50% play ridin. Money isn't an issue either.

Flip a coin. Both bikes are great for any kind of riding. As far as the "fun factor", any mode of transport with close to 50hp, and weighing in at around 250lbs., is a blast to ride!! 2-stroke, 4-stroke, BLA,BLA,BLA. The power to weight ratio of both bikes is almost the same. You will have a blast on either one. Pick a color, throw down some cash, and prepare for blast off! Most of all, have fun.

Will do, thanks. Does the CRF450 have a powerband? I heard it has a little one... ?
H'mmmm... I am VERY used to 4 strokes and their maintanence (own a race ready Raptor). So I know how to adjust valves/oil filters/ect. Is the 450F VERy hard to do maintaince on?

"Does it have a powerband?" Not sure I know what do you mean specifically but I think it has a phenomenal powerband ... long, powerful and smooth. I'd say the YZ has a bigger hit but less power and shorter.
If I wasn't racing enduros, I'd have a 450. Since I am, I have a 250 2smoke.
