Theres a small video clip of me on my sponsors site-its 1.8meg so a dial up can handle it if you are patient.

www.2C-racing.com

Its at Armthorpe , the track me and bruce went to recently when he came over to ride with me

What? no sound? How do we know your not riding a four stroke?

Posted by: marcusgunby---------------------

Sorry blame bruce-its his camera now thinking about it, its a real shame it doesnt have sound

1) you could hear how nice it sounds
2) you could here what i had to hear when bruce constantly rode a gear too low

this will be the last season he uses the 2 stroke as the 4 stroke displacement advantage is too hard to offset.

Marcus?....
I had no idea you rode for a sponsor that clearly, all over the site, indicates they're doing away with the bling bling.

Last season on a 2 stoke eh

Posted by: marcusgunby---------------------

Well on some tracks the rm is fantastic but on others it really shows its lack of torque, on uphill, off camber corners its no match for a 4.

There is no way a 2 stroke will remain in the line up of the big four for long, we have very few in the 125 expert class and most agree they are at a disadvantage.

So it looks like im saving for a 05 RMF and i really hope they have sorted the reliability problems or its going to be a short season.

In our local pro class this past weekend we had 21 on the gate in the 125 class, 20 thumpers and a lone 125. In the 250 it's not quite as bad but I suspect as soon as the Kawi and Suzuki 450's arrive it will look pretty similar.

You're shorter than I imagined

Ivan

What's all that wet stuff on the track? Do they actually make you ride when it's like that?!?

Posted by: marcusgunby---------------------

Ivan yes im pretty short-just 5'5" about the same as RC?? LOL hes followed me to Suzuki

High Lord Gomer-its a crazy place we live in here in the UK-last week was cancelled as it was too wet, this week was sunshine all week and i bet it was dusty.

hey there looks a cool track at armthorpe i see you ride for Prestwood i have a 04 Rm125 also and run his silencer at the moment i rang him earlier and ordered a pipe he seems a nice chap. He did a few bikes for a mate of mine who runs Daile Trayler and Richard Fitch in the kws etc. The dyno printouts sure look impressive i have heard of him but never realised he had a website. It's good to see another pipe manuafacture out from england give dep some comp!

Armthorpe looks good i have never gotten to ride it raced at finningly b4 up the road tho. where abouts u from Marcus?
