I have a new 03 CRF450 with only about 2-hours ride time. I have noticed that the plastic shroud around the front suspension is rubbing against the top suspension tube. While it may do no harm other than rubbing plastic - i wanted to attach sealskins and it looks like they would be rubbed off in about a days worth of riding. The throttle side shroud does not have these same marks. Any advice on adjustments?

On the upper tube, right above the seal, there is a metal ring around the fork leg just for that reason. It's for the fork gard to rub on insted of the softer leg. If you ziptie the seal savers on, It may rub on the tie insted of the saver. You will have to check to be sure. Later, James
