An old hot rodders knowledge I will pass to you. Engine smoke 101. Blue smoke, on a 4 stroke means its worn. rings, valve guides etc. Black smoke, the air fuel mixture is rich, white smoke means blown head gaskets. In your bikes case blue smoke is normal. Some any ways. If you do have white smoke, check your crank case oil level, and oil quality, if its frothy white, ya gots problems. If your crank/tranny is strangly low, it could mean crank seals are blown. No Bueno! Leaky seals will blow some serious smoke, suck in tranny fluid, wash off the oil needed to lube up the reciprocating parts in the motor, no good. My advice is do a leak down test, see if anything is a leaking and go from there....Redrider!
