Hey Y'all,
I got a 2011 KX250F that is in really good shape and ran and started pretty well a few weeks ago. I washed it last Sunday, and then let it sit for three or four days before I tried to start it. It wouldn't start at all. I finally got it bump started, and after it fully warmed up, it would start first kick, but as soon as it cooled down, I would have to bump start it again. When I kick it and give it full throttle, it tries to start and will backfire sometimes, but other than, it doesn't fire off. I'm not sure if washing it had anything to do with it, but that's around when it started, so I thought there might be a connection. Also today after I rode it for 30 min or so, it was blowing steam and coolant out the overflow line of the radiator. I'm kinda at a loss. It dosen't have near the compression as my yz250, but I'm not sure if that's just cause my yz250 is a 2 stroke with 16 hours, or if my four stroke has worn rings. PLEASE HELP!!!!
