Whats the difference between the models? Is it just the gearing?
Is one better suited for trails than the other or should I just pick wich one that has the cooler graphics? If so, it's hands down the XC.

I'm coming off of a 2002 YZ250 that I had set up for trails and I loved it but I want my next bike to have a lot more balls. I know I could just go buy a monsterous thumper but I'm not sure I'm ready to take the 4t plunge just yet.

the xc-w suspension is set up more for woods while the XC is a cross between woods and moto. personally though i have no problems with my XCW suspension on a motocross track.

Be more specific, what year are you comparing?
