Hey guys.... I just installed an 88 yz 250 lower end on an 89 yz 250. Everything worked out good, except for one thing. I noticed, on this lower end I got off of Ebay, that the flywheel was smaller in diameter. Also, someone has drilled metal out of the flywheel 5 times...(on the same hemisphere). When they drilled, they did not go all of the way through. Looks like they were trying to remove some weight. I used my old flywheel, and stator. I got it crunk, (I know that is not a word). I am worried that someone drilled the metal out because the crank was not true. But their method of drilling was crude at it's best....you can tell by the randomness of the drilling. But if I put my flywheel off of the other (swapped out) lower end, will it be balanced? I can't feel any significant vibration.... but would I be able to tell? How bad is bad where the vibration is concerned?
