Hello all,
I recently got a 94 CR 125. The guy I got it from said it was stuck in neutral. After getting it home, I decided to do a little investigating. I removed the clutch cover, then the clutch. That's when I found the linkage had slipped off the dowel. I noticed the shift shaft has quite a bit of side to side play, which is allowing it to slip off. I noticed on the inner clutch cover, there is a tab that appears to be broke off or worn down. It's right at the shift shaft, looks like this is supposed to prevent the shaft from having too much play. Is this correct? If so, can it be repaired or do I need to replace the inner cover?
