Thinking of buying a 96 kx250. price is good and seems pretty good condition. Anyone have any experience with the goods or bads of this model.

I changed my mind,

I bought an old IT465. This thing is old as the hills but man it is awesome. apparently they go forever too. The power is out of control but it turns like a freight train.

I bought a 1994 kx 250 and have found a great deal of parts inerchange with newer models. Huge improvement when I went with 2002 kx suspension. I wiegh about 170 and the bike seems to have a bit of a heavy feel to it but the power output makes up for it.

I have a 1994 kx250, I love it except for the fact it is green. There are many parts available used from that acution site in case you needs things like a caliper, kick starter etc... Mine is solid as a rock, I would say but it, and there are still graphics available, you just need to look at the graphic manufactures sites. I bought mine for 1100.00 and it has served me well. I bought my girlfriend a crf150 and paid more for her bike, and its a slow terd!
