Go up one tooth on the front sprocket, it makes a huge difference, I have a 1995 kx250 and thats what I did. The stock gearing is a little low. Also correct jetting will make a big difference.
Thanks a bunch. I know the sprocket deal but was woundering about different reeds, exaust and possibly having the head shaved. The stock sprockets on the 96 were 14/49, I have droped a tooth on the front.
