96 yz250 help plz

i have a yz250 96 it wont move in 1st gear its just like its in nutral ,it goes like fook in every other gear .can i get a new gear and will this effect the rest of them if i keep riding it?wud b much greatfull for some advice :)

1st is probably stripped down to nothing. Split the cases and take a look at it and then replace it if it is stripped. Make sure to clean out any debris.

Don't ride it untill you find out what is wrong you could mess up the other gears also.
