hi guys so i took a trip to to my local bike shop to have my ignation coil tested/spark plug coil they tested it. they said it was bad but it still has spark. is that possible to be bad but still have spark. but not enough spark to fire the bike over. anyone have this same problem at one point in time on any bike any advise would be great.

I have had a similar problem when a stator went bad.

Made it very hard to diagnose. Eventually, after lots of frustration, I had the stator rewound and it fixed the problem.

I've had the same experience. Hard to swallow the cost of new stator or rewind but it will likely fix your problem.

Thanks but the shop told me it was the spark plug coil really appropriate it guys

Stators do go bad... I've had it happen twice.
