All synthetic oils are not the same, some are designed to be mixed at different raitos than others. The MC1 is very thick and concentrated and should be mixed at 50+:1 . The yamalube is much thinner and should be mixed at 40:1 (for a 250). With clean jetting and yamalube at 40:1 my KDX ran really strong, didn't spooge and the plugs came out perfect. Plus, the top end and kips valves will stay cleaner with the yamalube than the MC1, I have used both and speak from experence. good luck
