Apparently someone over tighten float bowl drain plug does anyone know of a repair it let's float bowl vent drip

I am trying to read into what you are exactly asking but I will give this a go.............. Is the drip coming from the drain tube or from the actual drain plug...? If it is from the tube then you need to adjust the float height or get a new seat for the float shutoff.
