Is changing the fork oil and seals a job best left to the shops? I need to change my oil but it looks like from the shop manual you need a couple special tools and that the job might be somewhat tricky if you have never done it before. Thanks
A spring holder can be a wrench or a slot cut into a piece of sheet metal.
A seal driver can be fashioned out of some PVC. I used a 3/4" drive socket (b-i-g) last time I did seals (not on a kdx). If you're interested in the PVC unit, ask dan (acutemp on DRN). He's made a nifty looking piece.
