Has SERA rider Chad Earl hung up the helmet?

I was just wondering if any SERA riders had any info on Earl. From the looks of the points (38th overall in enduro), I was guessing that Earl may have quit. I thought I heard someone say that he had quit the other day, maybe they just said he should quit? Let me know if he shows up in New Hope.

I heard Earl was switching to a 520exc, and planing to make his next big showing at the 24hrs of Glenhelen. Last time i talked to him he was siting on his rear making his fine wife make him a milkshake so he could hold down the big 520.

612 is now starting to ride again, however, it will be a while before competition. I won't make the trip to New Hope this weekend, but my boys from Perry Mountain will be there!

Talked to Earl on Friday, he said Thursday he and Cannonracer were practing for New Hope. Per Earl, practice was cut short because the KTM sprung an oil leak. Or, Earl said the Cannonracer may have been tired of eating rocks.

P.S.
Earl says he will be the king of the race Sunday.

But I don't believe it!
