i have a 2001 cr250 fresh rebuild bottom up have no fire
1. replaced stator with a ricky stator
2. changed coil with new
3. changed cdi box
4. check every wire for nicks or breaks
any ideas on what else i can do or any ideas

kill switch??

my last hope for an easy fix, more will require a multimeter :yell:

probably stupid to even mention but last, last hope would be the plug

Check the timing? pull the ground off the coil and take a wire brush to the contact point on the frame. Ive spent hours troubleshooting spark issues and it was a dirty contact. What kind of plug are you using?

As ellandoh mentioned, your gonna need a multimeter to trace the fault.
Firstly, spin the engine over & check you have voltage coming from the stator.

I got it guys thanks it was a wire for the stator got cut when I put it on got it running and the power valve isn't working so now I have more problems.

I took the plug on the left side of the enging out and with the bike running there a mark that's stright up the book says when u rev it up the mark should turn 90 degrees and it doesn't move. Plus when riding it it's slugush and no power band
