isn't this black cap for oil? I thought it was making it a four stroke if it's not for oil what's it's for I opened that case and oil spikes out so if it's not for oil then someone put some in there which could be why the bike didn't run when I bought it

There is oil in the transmission on a two-stroke engine along with the oil you mix in the gas.

UMMMM, 125 cc 2 stroke What brand ?
Most you have to premix the the oil with the gas ---- unless it is a auto lube type bike.
You still have to put oil in the transmission also.

That's either a 90 or 91 RM 125, a really groovie 90's era bike, the seat cover and the fuel tank is the wrong color. Tank and shrouds should be Suzuki yellow, and the seat cover should have a psycodellic color scheme, as well as the rear fender and side plates. Looks like a fun resto!
