KTM 200 exc model 01 or 02

I recently bought a claimed 02 200exc. The 10th digit on the VIN number actually = 1, so I must asume that it is actually a 01 model. How can I determine if it is a 01 or 02. Were there any noticible differences between the 2 models, and could the digit 1 perhaps indicate that year of manufacturing is 01, but 02 spec ? Please help

i have the exc250 o1 and the tank has a z shaped rad shroud and the 02 has an L shape if thats any help
