KTM 250 EXC blowing oil out of case
1999 KTM 250 EXC, Really need some advice. purchased used, after a couple of rides it is now blowing the oil out of what appears to be a vent tube on top of case. Oil volumes were confirmed by local KTM dealer and proper levels put in at oil change. What do I need to check. Is there some presure release not functioning The bike still runs strong, just leaves an oil trail where ever we go. to lose the engine on such a great bike
1/1/06 -- 50 lookers and no ideas, sure could use some help before we start tearing the engine apart. I know the suk. engine fairly well but have no experience on the KTM. Mike the owner, went to change the oil and found no oil in it, he filled it ran it shortly and changed again. No significant traces of metal. The bike runs strong just blows oil. Is there a filter on this bike that could be clogged?
