just wondering, how many vets are on this board. I'll start, old man, 42 years old, first South America drug/narco terrorist interdiction, latest Afghanistan, special forces as the Afghan 201 BN recon company advisor.anyway, vet don't mean deployed, just who has served. I bet mucho

I went to South America, once. I just drank a lot of beer. You ever have something called Rock Ice while you were down there? It's really bad.

US Army '73-'76 82ABN 4th/BN 68th Armor... Recovery / Tank Mecanic. Funny thing could replace an entire engine/tras in under 45 minutes... under fire yet can't keep the KX250 in one piece. Jumped out of C130's C141's and Chppers only to get an occassional sand burn, the metal in the shoulder is from the KX on an up hill double, go figure. Any of you birds come thru Louisville KY give me a call, gotta a small track we can ride and tell stories... and yes, I'm proud to be a vet wasn't popular then, at least today's soilder receives the respect he/she deserves.

Look up RM_guy... got an active duty guy needing some help. Fru... in reading your posts I should have figured "jarhead" love you brother.

millitary vets

A little trivia---only military vets can spell military that way. It's an inside thing, man. Kind of an identification moniker thing. :)

US Army 87-98, one year break and now working for DOD as a civilian doing the same thing. I really liked how the military moved me from the southern most point of the USA, Key West FL to the northern most mall in Fairbanks Alaska. brr...
I got back into riding in Ak and would go there again since the riding is pretty much unrestricted.
