Hey y'all, what does it mean when half of the spark plug insulator is white and the other half appears to be the right color for correct jetting??? Also, 3 other people where I was riding this weekend fouled plugs just like I did. We were all riding green machines. Are Kawi's more prone to fouling plugs?? 2001 kx250
thanks

I bet you that is a new plug in their,it takes a while for a new plug to show full color at the insulator tip put more time on that plug and you will see the insulator will show more color where the white is..The ports from the factory are not perfect, causing a little uneven burn mixture at the plug,I also think the plug runs a little hotter at the exhaust side .. Fouling plugs, run your bikes harder or jet for your type of riding.
