XR250's didn't have blinkers from the factory, so if your adding aftermarket blinkers they go where ever you put them. Typically they should be on either side of the tail and head lighs, and at least 12" apart - but check your local state requirements.
The XR250L did have blinkers from the factory, you might look up a picture of it for ideas.
