yz250 & yz250f use same cdi ?

I am wondering if the cdi is different between 2 and 4 strokes. and does engine size matter like can I use a yz426f cdi in a yz250 2 stroke?

The ignition advance (and retard) curve on a two-stroke is very different than the one used on a four-stroke.
