I have my 04 crf250r for sale on here right now... I am having a compression problem right now... The cylinder head and valves was replaced about 3 rides ago and ran fine... than i took it for a ride and the bike was impossible to start... i could kick it with my hand... I took it to my buddy and he said to get the cylinder honed and get new piston rings because everything looked pretty good. Got new piston rings, cylinder honed, and new gaskets... put everything in and still the same thing... Can compression be lost since the exhaust gasket is very old and worn? I want to have this bike running well before I sell it because im not trying to rip people off

Nope, something else is wrong.

Verifying that the valves seal, the decompressor is working properly, and the cam timing is correct would be logical places to start.
