Has anyone tried one of the billet spark arrestors that you can install in your stock silencer? I'm specifically interested in one used on a YZ426. What was your overall impression on power and noise changes, if any?
I haven't purchased one yet but when the time comes..check out promotobillet.com...they have a screen in type end cap..that replaces the stocker...very nice looking. BMP..makes another w/the disk type set up if that tickles your fancy. Hope that helps.
I have the BMP disc type spark arrestor with 12 disks. Slighly less loud at idle. The same loudness as the stocker when riding. No noticeable loss in power. No jetting changes.
I like the Pro Moto Billet Design though too. They weren't making them at the time I bought mine.
The pro moto billet model is what I really want some feedback on. I didn't know there was a disc system available. I thought there where just some janky screw on types. Thanks for the info.
