After years of trail riding and a brief venture into vintage MX a few years back, I am wanting to compete in local 40 + C west coast style closed course grand prixs and occasional mx events. Basically a GP is an mx race with 1-3 miles of natural terrain thrown in. As noted, I am of "C" skill level on a good day. I weigh about 150 W/O gear. I am wanting a bike that is durable and easy to maintain and light!. That, to me, equates to the purhcase of a 2 stroke. I am intrigued with the new 05 KTM125's in that they seem to offer all the traditional positive characteristics that 125's are known for, plus their durability seems to be better then most. I am coming off a KDX 200.

Thank you

Bill

Major ditto, I love mine. It will run like a scalded dog and outperforms me on track and trail. I don't think I will outgrow it anytime soon.
