Broken oil drain bolt

Soooo my oil drain bolt broke off and obviously need to get it out...any suggestions

Well, you can try to use a fine drift pin to drive it out..

First use a center punch to make a spot to lay the drift, then, use the drift and a hammer to turn out the broken piece. Unless it's cross threaded it should come out.

If that doesn't work, easy out.

most of the time use the bolt head that broke off and there is usally a little piece that will hook and push up while trying to unscrew it

I would be concerned why it happened in the first place. Did you get the plug out?

If all else fails, weld a large nut to the broken piece. The heat from welding will expand the aluminum and make it easier to remove the broken piece.
