Hi guys first post here. Ive been riding since Christmas this year. I was taking a turn around a bank and the bike slid out. The piece that the shifter connects to bent. Its still ride able but hard and annoying to shift with. I dont know the name, its the little metal thing that turns and connects to the shifter. Could someone tell me how to fix it and what the name of it is, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I think it should be the shift shaft. You need to pull your clutch to get that shaft out. If bent you might have to cut it and replace it before trying to force it through the engine.

If your shifter is just bent, get a new one or straighten it out, all you need is a little heat, a piece of wood and a hammer.
