What kind - metal or plastic. There is a thnig called KREEM that is mixed, poured in the tank and it creates a liner. It was used in the days of metal tanks. You can still get it through aftermarket companies. Not sure about pastic tanks although there are huge amounts of repair compounds like BELZONA, etc. that would work. I would opt to buy a used or new tank unless it's vintage and there is no replacement available.

Good luck.

In an emergency I once used three minute epoxy to repair one. It held for two weeks shile my new tank was being ordered.

I saw a very sad thread at Thumpertalk about a gentleman who thought he had repaired his tank. The resulting fire ended up talking his bike. The forest service even threatened to prosecute him for the wildfire he started.

Dont do it. If you need to save money, the auction sirte has cheap tanks almost always.
