how much compression?

How much compression should a 99 ktm 250sx have for it to be good? thanks and are there any problems with these bikes because i am interested in one and would like to know anyhting in advanced also what should i look for on the bike?

It should be around 175-185psi I belive. Don't know of any problems specific to that bike but an not a huge ktm buff either.
