I just picked up a 2004 Husqvarna TE250 for $800. The motor appears to be solid, but the right side case cracked close to the kick starter. Somehow the starter got hung up and cracked it. The guy repaired it with JB Weld and thought it was leaking at the crack. From what I can tell after wiping it down and starting it several times, it appears to be leaking around the clutch cover O ring. I think the JB Weld will last because that area is not under any strain, but I would rather weld it if possible. Does anyone know what material those cases are made from, it is alum or magnesium? Thanks
