Kawasaki kx 80 year identification?

Hi guys. My nephew was just given a kx80 but he doesn't know what year it is. I have the frame number and the engine number. Is there a way to tell its year by those numbers?

He needs to buy some parts for it but can't wihout the correct year!

Does anyone have a kx80 parts bike they are looking to sell?

Yeah, go to the Kawasaki Site and click on "Vehicle Information". Enter your VIN # from the frame of the bike and it will give you the year and other information. Click on "View Parts Diagrams" and find the parts you need. Good Luck!
