Does any spark plug company make a shorter plug for the KTM 250xc-w? I'm sure someone has run into this problem but when you get the plug in the head the top of the plug is so close to frame its a pain in arsh to get the wire on. I just wonder if there is a plug in the same heat range that's shorter. Just trying to my life easier.

BR8ES is what I took out. I replaced with a BR7ES because that's what I had. I will look into the ECM. Just 2 or 3 mm's shorter would make a big difference.

Eyballing a spare ECM vs. a BR8ES, the ECM is probably 5 or 6mm shorter.

That would do it for sure! I was checking online and it seems they are quite a bit more than a standard plug. MSRP is like 11 bucks. I guess it will be worth it not to use a shoe horn and vaseline to change a plug.
