From the frame# it should be either 1975 or 2005. I hope you can take it from there and tell if its about 36 years old or 6 years old.
The year is the tenth digit of the vin/frame#
A-1980 L-1990 Y-2000 A-2010
B-1981 M-1991 1-2001 B-2011
C-1982 N-1992 2-2002 C-2012
D-1983 P-1993 3-2003 D-2013
E-1984 R-1994 4-2004 E-2014
F-1985 S-1995 5-2005 F-2015
G-1986 T-1996 6-2006 G-2016
H-1987 V-1997 7-2007 H-2017
J-1988 W-1998 8-2008 J-2018
K-1989 X-1999 9-2009 K-2019
I dont see a list for the engine # though, the closest I see for the engine would be if you left out the 2nd letter, KX125KE00**** was used from 94-97. So maybe somebody with more knowledge on the KX can clarify.
If you misread the frame# and the tenth number/letter is an S not a 5, it would make more sense that its a 95 bike with the original motor. and not an 05 bike with a 95 motor. the vin you typed comes up unknown, changing the 5 to an S comes up with the following
1995 KAWASAKI KX125
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VIN:JKAKXRK15SA006866
World region:Asia
Manufactured in:Japan
Year:1995
Make:Kawasaki
Model:KX125
Body style:Moto Cross
Drive type:RWD
Cylinders:1 Cylinders
Thanks for all the info. I think your right I need to recheck the #'s. I was guessing it to be a '94. It's water cooled so that rules out '75 I believe, and an '05 can't look this bad.
