I just bought a 1986 kx 500.. Wasnt running, cleaned the carb which was filthy and the plug was changed.. now it starts right up.
The problem is the magneto case is filling with gas when the bike is running.. what would cause this? i opened up the case to inspect and gas came pouring out of it... :(

Yep, you have to replace the crank seal. See what the dealer will charge you if you're not sure how to do it.
