Went shopping for KX65 today.
First dealer wanted 2800 + 750 set-up & freight (not!) for KX65
KTM dealer quoted 3100 + 399 set-up. for KTM65
After all the haggling is done: if I can get KTM65 for 200-300$ above cost of the KX65: Should I get the KTM??
I'm sure KTM parts are pricey.
Is KTM bullet-proof or a fragile race bike???
Will KTM be as "ridable" as KX?
Help!

The KTM is a much better built bike. It also comes with much better parts from the factory and should outlast a couple of KX 65s.

I would say it's as rideable as the KX but has more power on tap everywear. The only problem with a KTM is finding a dealer that has a 65 for sale. Most have been sold out for months.
